Intro to Open Door

These three Sunday nights (5:30 p.m.) provide for informal discussion, questions, and communication concerning Open Door Baptist Church. If you are interested in knowing about or joining Open Door, please plan to attend these sessions.

Intro to Open Door classes meet periodically during the year and are normally on three consecutive Sunday nights at 5:30 p.m. The dates for the Intro to Open Door classes will be posted on the Special Events page a few weeks prior to the start of the first class.

Realize God loves you.

God loves you and has a plan for your life. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

The Bible says all men are sinners.

Our sins have separated us from God. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

There is a payment for sin.

"For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23).

Christ paid for our sin.

All our sins were laid on Christ on the cross. He paid our sin debt for us. "But God commendeth HIs love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

We must personally pray and receive Christ by faith as our Savior.

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13).

Pray and receive Christ as your Savior.

"Lord, I know that I am a sinner. If i died today I would go to hell. Forgivemy sin, come into my heart and save me.
                                                                                                        - in Jesus' name, Amen."
