Open Door Baptist Church was organized on November 7, 1920. There have been several pastors and ministries associated with the church. The past ministries include the Greensburg Bible Institute, a Ladies' Missionary Fellowship, a deaf ministry, telephone ministry, radio ministry, and Open Door Christian Academy. Originally the church was located in downtown Greensburg, but is now located north of town on approximately seven acres of land. The facility includes an auditorium which seats 400 and a Family Life Center. The church is an independent, fundamental, Baptist church.
